The chalet will be constructed in the small village of Bonnerue (Houffalize). The house will stand at an altitude of 420 m above sea level, a beautiful starting point for a good walk or for a sharp mountain bike trip trough the "Ourthe" valley, or a beautiful walk in the snow accompanied by your sleigh. But you could also just enjoy the sun, play in the garden, or have a delicious barbecue on the covered terrace.
Bonnerue is at a distance of about 8 km from Houffalize, 17 km from La Roche and about 15 km from Bastogne. The region is suitable for walking, mountain biking, fishing, in winter alpine or Nordic skiing, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery of this part of the Belgian "Ardennes". The country of Luxemburg is only 17 km away, and offers lots of possibilities for shopping, also shopping possibilities in Bastogne (even on sunday) The region was also the scene of "The battle of the bulge" during World War II .
